Help us Reach Our Goal!

Help us Reach Our Goal!

Our collaboration with the Philadelphia School District has played a crucial role, resulting in a generous $1,681,000 grant from the Philadelphia Water Department dedicated to the stormwater management aspect of this transformative initiative. The landscape architecture firm, Salt Design Studio, have been selected for this project. We're excited to share that Friends of Hackett has successfully secured a $20,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development for the development of our outdoor classroom.

Our focus is on raising the remaining $120,000 to complete various aspects of the project outside of stormwater management. This includes the development of the outdoor classroom, updates to the basketball court, creation of a captivating blacktop mural, and the addition of seating throughout the schoolyard.
